For Dancers Ages 8 – 18
Technique Classes
In these classes we spend more time focusing on the individual style of the dance presented, with strong emphasis on correct technique and body placement.

Ballet
Ballet provides a strong technical foundation while inspiring confidence, discipline, and artistry. Dancers develop alignment, strength, flexibility, and musicality through barre work, center exercises, across-the-floor progressions, and choreography — along with the terminology and traditions of this timeless form.

Pointe
Ages 12+ · Instructor Approval Required
For advanced dancers who have demonstrated the strength, alignment, and technical foundation necessary for pointe work. Classes focus on safe progression, foot and ankle strengthening, center work, and classical vocabulary. Dancers must be at least 12 to protect developing bones and growth plates in the feet.

Tap
A rhythmic style that turns the feet into musical instruments. Dancers learn to create clear, precise sounds while developing coordination, timing, balance, and musicality through fundamental steps, rhythm patterns, combinations, and performance skills.

Jazz
High-energy dance that blends strong technique with dynamic movement and expressive performance. Classes include warm-up, across-the-floor progressions, turns, leaps, and choreography emphasizing style and precision. A strong ballet background helps dancers excel.

Lyrical
Blends the technique of ballet with the fluidity of jazz to create expressive, emotional movement. Dancers learn to tell a story through choreography while developing grace, flexibility, balance, strength, and musicality, with focus on seamless transitions and artistry.

Contemporary
A dynamic genre that blends elements of ballet, modern, and jazz while focusing on innovation, versatility, and a wide range of movement qualities. Often incorporates grounded, pedestrian-style movement, floor work, and abstract concepts.

Hip Hop
High-energy, expressive, and always evolving. Rooted in hip hop culture, this street dance style spans foundational forms like breaking, locking, and popping alongside modern influences, encouraging confidence, creativity, and personal style.

Musical Theater Jazz
Combines the technique of jazz dance with the storytelling and performance style of Broadway musicals. Classes focus on musicality, stage presence, character development, and expressive performance — perfect for dancers who love to perform.

Leaps & Turns
Non-Performance Technique Class
Builds the foundation needed for powerful movement. Targeted exercises and across-the-floor progressions develop jumps, leaps, turns, spotting, alignment, and core engagement, with emphasis on correct technique and injury prevention. An excellent supplement to regular training.
