The Dance Gallery (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the privacy of our families. This policy explains what information we collect through dancegalleryonline.com and how we use it.

What this policy covers

This policy applies to our website only. Class registration, tuition payments, and account management take place on a separate platform operated by The Studio Director. Information you provide there is governed by The Studio Director’s Privacy Policy and End User Terms of Service, along with the enrollment agreement you complete with The Dance Gallery.

Information you give us

When you fill out our contact form, we collect the name, email address, phone number, and message you provide. We use this only to respond to your inquiry and to follow up about classes or programs you asked about. We do not sell this information or share it with advertisers.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and roughly where they’re located (city level, not precise location). This is collected through cookies and similar technologies. It helps us decide what information to add or improve.

Google Analytics does not tell us who you are individually. If you’d prefer not to be included, Google offers a browser opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings; the site will still work normally.

Registration and payments

When you click a registration or account link, you leave our website and enter The Studio Director’s customer portal. We do not collect or store payment card information on this website. Please note that The Studio Director may retain account information after an account is closed. If you would like your information permanently deleted from their system, contact us and we will submit the request to them on your behalf.

Photographs and video of students

We publish photographs and video of classes, performances, and studio events on our website and social media. Consent for photography and video is addressed in the enrollment paperwork families complete at registration.

If you would prefer that an image of your child not appear on our website, contact us and we will remove it. You don’t need to give a reason.

Children’s privacy

This website is written for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through this site. If you believe a child has submitted information through our contact form, contact us and we will delete it.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate — our website host, our email provider, Google Analytics, and The Studio Director. We do not sell personal information.

If you receive emails from us about classes, events, or studio news, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us directly.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we collect, but no website can guarantee complete security.
