We are very excited about our upcoming show “Cruisin’ Across America” at the Raymond E. Harfield Performing Arts Center on June 12th at 6:30 and June 13th at 2:30 and 6:30. Our students will shine as performing artists as they present a collection of dances inspired by a classic, all-American road trip! You will be inspired by their hard work, determination and talent! Admission is FREE!

Dress Rehearsals June 11th

Dress Rehearsals will be held on Thursday, June 11th at the Round Rock Performing Arts Center (Raymond E. Hartfield Performing Arts Center). All dancers must arrive in costume ready to perform 15 minutes before their scheduled rehearsal time. It is REQUIRED that your dancer attends dress rehearsal. Dress rehearsal is imperative, not only to their success, but for the other dancers too. They need to be familiar with the stage and understand entering and exiting instructions from the wings. We are NOT rehearsing the dances in “show order”. Bring all costumes, their dance bag and all of their dance shoes, and label everything! Once you arrive at the Performing Arts Center, please come into the auditorium and sit with your child’s class. If you arrive late and miss their dance, we WILL NOT be able to do it again because of time restraints, so please plan ahead. The stage mom(s) will escort the dancers to and from the stage when it is their turn to rehearse. You may take pictures and video of your dancer on stage during dress rehearsal only (not during the recital).

***After your child’s class has rehearsed on stage, they will head to the lobby for group pictures – even if you do not plan on purchasing one. We frame group pictures of all of the classes for the studio! Thank you!

Recitals June 12th and 13th

On the recital day all dancers must arrive in costume 20 minutes before their show time. Dancers will report backstage and follow the signs to their waiting area. Younger classes will need to check in with the stage mom in the green room. You will sign your child in with their stage mom(s) no more than 20 minutes before show time and then take a seat in the auditorium. Older dancers will find their assigned dressing room. The auditorium will open for seating 30 minutes before show time. No one other than staff or troupe parents will be allowed in the auditorium before this time. You do NOT need tickets to our show! Your recital fee helps cover the cost of the auditorium rental and therefore general admission is FREE…so invite as many people as you like!

Teachers will discuss hair styles individually in each class. Makeup is recommended on all performers! The lights on the stage can “wash out” their faces. We suggest enough blush and lipstick to highlight their face. Eye makeup is preferred on the older dancers.

No pictures or videotaping will be allowed during the recital (only during dress rehearsal). The show will be professionally videotaped by SharpShooters. Ads for the program – If you own a business and would like to advertise in our program or if you would like to congratulate your hard working dancer, you may purchase space in our program. Our programs make a great keepsake too! Don’t miss out on telling your dancer how proud you are of them! Check out last year’s program in the office!

Keepsake programs will be on sale in the office the last week of classes June 1st – June 8th at a discounted price of $3 and at the door for $5. You receive 2 free copies with purchase of an ad.
Flower orders – If you would like to purchase flowers for your dancer to be picked up at their recital, please pick up a flower order form in the office. They will need to be returned to the studio by May 15th. This is a Troupe fundraiser and all proceeds will go to the performing Troupe.
